Ours does consistently produce stock
that is good on their feet, is hardy against parasites and makes plenty of milk to raise their kids.
With keeping our herds health and happiness in mind we do our best to raise them on browse/pasture. We do supplement with quality hay, minerals and protein tubs year round.
All of our late stage bred does get a ration of grain, and all kids begin eating grain at about 2 weeks of age, and continue to eat grain through the growing stage.
Our herd is made up of registered full blood, purebred
and percentage goats.
Everything from traditional, paints, solid red or
black, dapples & spotted.
Our main focus is to breed for a hardy yet
functional goat. Our does are selected to produce fast growing, breed correct Boers with excellent maternal abilities. We expect our does to birth and raise their kids with minimal interference from us.
We cull our herd hard and are always pushing to better our own herd and the animals we offer for sale.
You will not buy a goat from us that we would not use in our own program.
